We think it’s safe to say that the weather is officially confused in the city of Richmond. If you take a look at the forecast we are expected to endure almost everything under the sun. Luckily for us, it was warm enough to wear shorts yesterday. As you can see Chance still chose to wear pants, but he spends enough time wearing next to nothing at home.
For this look, he chose a color pallet with rich burgundy and navy hues harmoniously blended with earth tones of brown and gray. The exploration of synthesizing prints, colors and textures is always a fun thing to do win creating a look (i.e. mixing corduroy with leather or mixing plaid with leopard.) In regards to accessories one of Chance’s favorite things to do is mix metals so this Marc Jacobs lock necklace was easily a favorite. It encompasses a silver chain and a brassy gold lock with a clever “Don’t Fuck With My Shit” engraved on it’s face.
Lastly, mixing wood, hemp, leather and various metals has been the trend for the male arm party long before last season, but it’s still going strong. So for this look chance chose a few little fun things to keep his wrist company. If you refer to the photograph #5, you’ll see the fours bracelets chosen for this look. The first is a wrap around leather bracelet with a white threaded, double top stitch from H&M. The second is a base metal, chain linked bracelet, also from H&M that originally came in a variety pack of three metal bracelets. One was lost at a Ke$ha concert and the other was given to Ellie Goulding almost a year and a half ago. The third is a beatiful Lapis bracelet gifted by a good friend, and the last is a wood beaded bracelet painted and chipped through months of wear and tear.
This look may be perfect for a casual warm day, but let’s keep our fingers crossed for even warmer weather.
