I’ve been really on edge about making a spontaneous trip lately. Left and right, I turn, and see every other blogger, friend and even coworker taking trips to exotic landscapes and far, unfamiliar places. Every other person except me, it seems. Christmas is coming, nearly around the corner, and after the year I’ve had I think it’s well deserved for both Aba and myself to take off somewhere exciting, new perhaps, and maybe even warm. We’ve got a few places in mind like Miami if we want the sun and Canada if we want the experience and the lawful ability to drink and experience nightlife at the ripe, but still underaged years on American soil, of 19 and 20. That’s another thing; I’ll be turning 20 in May. It may seem like a month unfathomable by the mind at this point with the cold steadily creeping in reminding us all that winter has only really just begun, but time has a scary way of creeping up on me. I’ll have to say goodbye to my teenage years, physically that is, and hello to new adventures.
What better way to embark than with Herschel? I know that preface probably sounds more like the opening line of an infomercial, but, in all honesty, Herschel is the way to go when planning big trips, excursions through the city and it’s limits, or just feeding off the desire to add a durable and fashion forward back pack to a wardrobe . I’ve had this puppy for a few months now, using it almost every day, but never finding an outfit that I thought it paired well with. Until now, that is.
Yes, I know. It’s all black and finding an outfit to match would be no feat, and I’m surely not disagreeing. It actually goes well with anything. Even the more ‘extra’ Herschels that come in canary yellow with polka dots scatted in panels have a way of effortlessly meshing into one’s wardrobe. And most of the time, that’s where they will stay for months and months to come. Their durability, sleek design and heavy-duty materials make for a sturdy back buddy. I highly recommend getting one for the holidays, especially if you have a trip planned. They don’t stop at backpacks. They have luggage, backpacks in a few designs, fanny packs, wallets/cardholders, duffle bags, etc., but you probably knew that already. If so, good for you. If you didn’t, jump on the wagon and join the family of new horizons and quality goods. Trust me when I say it’s worth the price tag because you’ll probably never buy another backpack again. Unless, of course, you come across a Wang pack, or even another Herschel you fancy.
